I would give this book 4 stars out of 5, it was a really well written book and the books are fairly short so it is a really fun quick read to read in my free time ( what am I talking about I read this every second I had ha ) this book is about a sixteen year old girl who leaves her home in London to go to the frontier to meet her new fiance to find he has abandoned her and now has to learn how to live on the frontier and stay alive and possibly have to forgot all the schooling she had in London about being the proper lady.
Every Soul A Star
This book was SO good! I would give it a 5 out of 5.
This book is focused around the main character who lives at a campground that is the perfect destination to see the solar eclipse coming up that year, destined to have a lot of campers coming that summer she has a lot to do and in the doing meets two friends who she would have never met otherwise. The story follows them through each of their perspectives and also you learn a lot about lunar eclipses! I learned a lot about solar eclipse that was very interesting!
Okay For Now
This book also gets 5 out of 5 stars.
The main character of this book is Doug Swieteck who in the year of 1968 moves to Marysville Ny with his falling apart family. Where he meets a girl who he becomes friends with and finds that he has a love for art. This book is certainly well written. There is also a sequel to Okay For Now which is Wednesday Wars. I have started this book but I have not finished it yet.
I would give this book 3 ½ stars out of 5. This book was very enjoyable to read but was probably my least favorite out of this list. I found the beginning of this book to be quite strange as it felt like it had nothing to do with the story, but I kept on reading and once I got past the first couple of chapters I was really enjoying it. This book is about a girl in the year 1912 happens to be in New York city where the titanic is setting sail. I cant say much more otherwise I would spoil it haha.
The 6 Most Important Decisions You’ll Ever Make ( A Guide For Teens )
This book gets 10 out of five stars you can’t really compare this to Okay For Now or Every Soul a Star cause this book is drastically different this book as you can guess from the title is a self improvement book for teens. I was assigned to read this for school but has now turned into one of my favorite books. This book has so much amazing advice packed into this book and at the same time quite funny and enjoyable stories to read. totally recommend this book to anyone 🙂
Those are my Top 5 books that I recommend reading while we are all stuck at home enjoy!
